Keegans were appointed by the managing agents to act on behalf of the Freeholder for the License for Alterations. The Leaseholder had employed an Architect and Structural Engineer to design and manage the retail unit fit out, however their lease requires approval by the Freeholder. The Freeholder appointed Keegans to inspect and approve the plans and works.
The fit out involved cutting through the concrete slabs to install a stairwell and lift. This involved review and approval by Keegans’ Structural Engineer. The works also included full mechanical and electrical fit out including new electrics and ventilation equipment.
Keegans’ Mechanical & Electrical Engineer was used to approve the proposals and inspect the works carried out on site. The Mechanical & Electrical works have been completed satisfactorily and Keegans are expecting the structural works to be signed off shortly.
